You search for meaning, your purpose in life, and learn how to support others. This is not easy. It takes boldness, courage and becomes a time of exploration when opportunities emerge as you are drawn to this effort. When you discover your spirituality, joy and fulfillment become apparent.

Sometimes you are relatively young; you call yourself a millennium and feel drawn to identifying with a vital source. Sometimes you are in your midlife - possibly a crisis has entered your life and you are at a loss for what is relevant in your life. Our past sources of pleasure no longer fulfill. To uncover what will, you need do the hard work. And, sometimes you are a baby boomer and beyond - the invincible ‘me’. You must breathe the best left in life to leave a mark, to settle your life and identify as a higher being after past efforts of relating to traditional religion gifted, no longer seem relevant.

I begin the quest and offer my roadmap.

I explore meditation, being in the now and practice as best I can, mindfulness. I learn about yoga options, crystals, energy forces and letting go. I search for what profoundly moves me at this time of my existence, what fills me up to make me complete. I question how to forgive and repair past wounds, how to be kind and loving with humankind as l learn the path toward gratitude. I contemplate death and who, what, how I will leave this earthly body and where my soul will roam. Discovering my spirituality has blessed me with a softer, kinder personality— it has been a gift from loving myself and others with compassion.

The road to discover your higher self can take years to uncover, or if it is "your time", it can resonate quickly with little effort.
